Start date for new features?

What month did the new features take hold? If I put down a deposit on a 4003 MG from The Ric Page that they ordered in 09/06, would it have the slimmer neck, dark headstock wings, and the vintage tone selector?

It will at least have the wings and the VTC. The slim neck will be a hit-and-miss thing.

How much slimmer is the new neck? Is it even that big of a difference. Right now I play a Ibanez 200GSR. Pretty low-end as far as basses go. Would the neck be a big difference compared to the neck I play on now?

If the Sound Gear necks are like the necks on my son's Ibanez then they are a bit closer to J Bass necks IMO.
