Q for Dale Or Paul

Post by tennis_nick »

Hypothermically, (play on words) if someone was getting a refret, what kind of ballpark would he be looking to spend? Ok, I specified Dale or Paul, but I'm sure alot of you have had it done, I'd just like an estimate.

Here's the DAle and Paul question. the neck I have is unbound, and I was wondering how possible it would be, and how cash consuming it would be, to have neck binding installed.

The guitar in question is my workhouse Gibson SG Special faded... Love it to death, but neck binding looks cool!

That's what it looks like now. about to get coil splits installed, and based on this picture, chrome topped knobs.

Nick, money questions I take off-Forum in deference to the Forum's purpose as a community of enthusiasts, not a salesroom.

You can write me in my profile e-mail and I would be pleased to answer your questions in a private e-mail.
