I heard them on one of the local college radio stations I listen to in the darkroom. Great stuff.

They are still being made. Look here for more detailed pics of the innards. Origional tape sounds for the loops are still available also.

That's just awesome. If Genesis had one of these when I saw them back in the '70s Peter would not have been telling little stories about "the F**K**G Mellotron" as Gabriel put it on several occasions!
