625 In Japan Book

I've looked at the Japan book 100+ times, but just noticed the 625 in it that has the rick-o-sound jack on the front of the guitar. What???

It also looks like there is a metal plate around it - I wish the photo was bigger!

Are most of those guitars in that book from a single collection?

Several collections, and many belong to John Hall as well....
