Opening an .ODT File
Opening an .ODT File
Ok, how do I open an .odt file? Whatever happened to the old reliable .txt file?

Peter,
I believe that ODT is an Open Office Text document from Open Office (which used to be called Star Office) and is a free Office suite of applications.
If you know who sent you the file, they can 'Save As' into a Word doc (or other) format.
If not, there are online re-formatters (sp?):

Good luck.
