Fish out of Water re-mastered + DVD

Post by seyesbass »

Check out the yesworld homepage.www.yesworld.com
Chris Squire is releasing a re-mastered extended version of Fish Out Of water on June 25th.
The big plus for forumites is that it will include a DVD of the original promo videos that were only shown briefly on tv and in record shops at the time.
There are grainy copies on youtube but this time we get to see the fireglo 1999 in all its glory!
Here comes summer!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not the biggest YES or CS fan, but I do love that album.

Didn't I post about that a month or two ago? Maybe it was on the other site.

Anyway, I think I also mentioned a very important point that this was to be released on Chris's own new label, with additional material on the way.

John: Indeed you did, in early April 2007.

All Good news. So, I guess I'll have one on vinyl, CD and DVD - Cool! I always thought the original version, while not as crisp and clear as I like a mix to be, still had a sort of "cathedral" sound overall, which certainly fits Chris' style. Hope the remastered still has that feel. And, a new solo CD will follow this... more to come from The Fish! Tony?

John, quite possibly, but I don't think many of us pay attention to what you post... ;-)

As far as I can gather the new solo album should be out in August.
Lets hope for some live appearances from the big guy!

I wish more bands would release their promo videos on DVD.

Vinyl to CD to DVD - a natural progression... I'm in!

And JohnH I do listen to what you say... but I'm a bass player and we're not supposed to be able to read all that well.... ;->
