Not So Groovy

Post by admin »

This is a sad ending to what was once a promising career. Wayne Fontana has found himself in jail. Story
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Sad...
Well, at least he's being himself...

Sometimes a bit of an edge can be central to the success of an artist. However, to quote Kenny Rogers, it is important to "know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em."

I saw Wayne Fontana on a PBS special recently. The show featured many performers from the sixties singing and playing their hit songs in front of a live audience. Odd that Wayne would choose "Game Of Love" and "Groovy Kind Of Love", since the second song wasn't his.

I think he thinks it was by association Randy.

Frankly he has not done himself any favours going to court like he did. You have to wonder if the ramblings on his website are really a figment of his imagination.

There is a youTube clip in the others of him doing a song I believe, now I can't find it.
