I worked at CBS as a page in the 1970s. When we taped Match Game, he was always the funniest.

He was one of the old talk show standbys they'd call when some book guest's flight was cancelled. He went out with Carson. Today of course they book guests that can't talk (how about Dennis Rodman on the Leno?) As long as they're young. Anyone over 50 hasn't got a chance.
