Restored Rickenbacker 3000

Post by clarky »

Hi all, just thought you might be interested to see my 3000 - bought off eBay with destroyed pickguard and added rotary control - a mess! I have added an original white pickguard (courtesy of your very own Mr Dane Wilder), had it re-sprayed Fireglo by Sims Custom Shop (they of the LEDs) and the TRC painted white over black (it was the reverse). Hope you like it!Image3000

Sorry about picture quality - I can't get my digital camera to take a sub-36kB photo without making it small/blurred - suggestions anyone?(the standard photo reads out at >700kB on my Windows viewer!)

No picture...I'd suggest a photo sizing software like Irfanview...

Welcome Mark!

Shoot the pictures at the highest resolution your camera will allow, then resize it in post processing. If you want, send the pics to me and I will resize them for you.

Jeffrey, I can't work Irfanview (doh!) so I've taken you up on your kind offer and sent you three pics to re-size. Cheers Clarky

Nice! The 3000 series....once again - a woefully underrated offering from RIC.

I love my 3001.

Is that a humbucker, or single coil?
