Post your "Go-To Guitar"
I put this in "others" because it might not be a Rick! In my case... it is not. My go-to guitar is my modified Gibson SG. Of course, I have to explain why!
First of all, it's a Gibson SG Special faded, the cheap line as they call it, but the best playing Gibson I've had the pleasure to weild. The pickups were replaced with Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz pickups, the Truss Rod cover was replaced by an Ebony TRC with my girlfriends name in Mother of Pearl (It was her birthday present last year, when she told me she didn't want anything, so I got something for me!). The Pickups have been modified with push/pull switches to go from humbucker/single coil, the results of this mod were MUCH better than expected! I sometimes hear a strat in my playing, till I look down, move it down and I've got soaring HUmbucker leads! Versatility makes it my Go-to guitar! I also changed the knobs for Chrome topped bells.
All together, I'd be confident showing up to a jam for any given style of music knowing I can get any tone they'd want me too.
Your turn! What's your "GO-TO GUITAR!" and why?
A Pic of mine!

AT least I hope that's how you post pics here...

Thanks, John.
I always thought it did look rather yellowed. The photograph is poorly lit.
When I bought my white 4003S/5 in '86, it was so white it made the 4001 look like a smoker's axe. Now they are both almost identical hues.
Here's a shot showing the area when my arm usually rest with an iPod for colour comparison.

My go to bass.
The last pic shows my go to 6 and 12 string guitars.
I do have one other guitar that I use to play blues but it is not a Rickenbacker and well... to be honest its a Fender parts guitar that has 0 pedigree. I call it my Number One

My usual "go-to" guitars will be one of Strats. They're all different from each other and I like them all - it'll just depend on what I feel like playing at the time.
Second tier choices would be my Gibsons or Tele.
Then there's the times when only a Ric 12 will do, and my only Ric is a 360/12V64, so it gets first (only) choice on the songs when that sound is appropriate.
