I've been hearing about this band, The Ramong Sound, for years, but maybe Roy can clear up some of the mystery about them. I've heard that Arthur Brown was one of the members for a time, but I've also heard he was not. I know that they evolved into The Foundations ("Build Me Up, Buttercup") eventually. I've heard they were a powerful live act with a soul sound. But I've never heard of any recordings...and they had one of the oddest names going for a British 60's group.
Anyone else know anything about The Ramong Sound?

I saw Clem Curtis the former lead singer of The Foundations earlier in the year at a weekend away. I did chat to him briefly. I could have asked him the question!
