BLAST FROM THE PAST 3

Post by admin »

Just in from Roy.
Those of you who listened to the Some Other Guys tracks will have heard the hit version of this track by The Fourmost who never had any hits in States.

Based on this though I suspect it wasn't originally destined for them, the act (could be solo, duo or group on this had a number of hits both here and US, though not as many as some think, during the beat boom or BI if you want to call it that.) Here is the link but the server will be down for most of the day and will resume service this evening around 4:00 pm EST. I apologize for this inconvenience but something to look forward to tonight if you weren't early enough to get it this morning.

"I'm racking my brain but I don't have much to work with!"

Freudian slip there mate or just a double entendre to have a bit of fun? Anyway I am not gonna give you a hard time since the old brainbox is just a wee bit more "overtaxed" these days. Image

Could that "I can't get it John" line be referred to Lennon? I especially like that "woody woodpecker" kinda laughter. Image
