Headstock shape on C63 12 string?

Post by rick12dr »

Very recently, I'd been checking around to see who has a C63 12 in stock, and Mike Parks had a new Jetglo in stock[since has sold, sigh].He sent me some really good pix of it, and one shot in particular caught my eye; a straight on shot of the headstock. This guitar's headstock did Not have that, for lack of a better term, more sharp edged "angular" look that the classic "Harrison" headstock has. This one looked more like a typical mid 60s 360-12 in that regard. So, whazzup with that? I know it's not optical illusion, the pic was too good for that, and besides, I have a friends' C63-12 at my house now on loan, and it Doesn't look the same.
FWIW, I like the look of the one Parks had better...
