One of my BC Rich style guitars completed

Post by blazer »

Well I have one of the bodies ready for finishing. This one will have a bolt on neck and a single Duncan JB humbucker. I used gunstock oil on this one.

The body with the neck and pickup in place for the photo. I had yet to screw them in. but it gives a good indication on how the finished guitar ended up looking.

The guitar asembled and during the placing of the bridge I discovered that the Schaller bridge I wanted to use didn't fit the posts, so I ended up using a Gotoh wrap around instead. I have yet to wire up the coil tap switch which will be in the vacant hole.

As for how it sounds, it's a rock monster of course, it sounds really harsh and raw.
