Ocean-Turquoise--Glo

Post by fatcat »

I've seen a 360 on fleabay color described as: Ocean-Turquoise--Glo. What can the experts tell me about the color?

Must've been written by a Fender guy.

"Glo" is a Rickenbacker mnemonic, but "Ocean Turquoise" is a Fender custom color.

Rickenbacker just calls it "Turquoise".

No "Glo".

There's also a "660 V-64" in turquoise for sale, and a simply scrumptious '99 4003, in--you guessed it--turquoise.

That 4003 is a nice one but pricey.
Turquoise isn't a current color, when were they offered or was it a past COY?

Thenuverramuch,Mr Paul.
I also found a good color chart while reading:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickenbacker
as suggested by a thread at the company site.
My colour interest is fueled by a recent desire that each new one I buy,be of a different color.

I was on a big turquoise kick for several years, but I'm getting myself off it these days. The only TUR I have now is the 330/12JD.

Turquoise is a solid color yes? Can anyone post photos of blue boy and turquoise so I can see the difference side by side?
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Jason...Fancy pants! Or are those pajama bottoms?

By the way, beautiful color Ricky too. I love that color. I see a FireGlo something in the right-hand corner. Is that yours too?
