Wasn't that bass on ebay just a few months ago ?
I remember that pickguard well.

The bridge is awful as well. I'd love to see what's under the pickguard, I'm thinking a nice chisel job for the routing.

Haha, I can't believe I didn't notice the bridge. I guess my eyes were too stuck on the forest of switches and knobs and that nasty white P pickup.
