make that "every day". Forum software apparently won't let us edit typos on titles.

I can think of a couple of people who'd I like to give this one to...
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

Well, somebody bought it. Just for grins I showed the auction to my wife. She wouldn't let me bid on it. My old Sunn equipment would kill people, but unlike this amp, it did it by liquifying them.

Something strange though... I downloaded the recorded sound clip posted in the auction and clicked the play button so that we could hear the unusual recording mentioned by the seller - normal desktop volume on my cheap Sony computer speakers. Instantly, and before anything on the recording got loud, our 110 lb. black lab got up off of his doggie waterbed 30' away in the living room, came into my office and was really terrified of something and staring right at the speakers. He's never responded to any sound coming out of my computer, he totally ignores the TV sound system and picture, even when dogs or wolves are barking and howling on the screen and he's not afraid of guitar amps. I can be wailing away on overdrive (which is truly scary) and he'll just come in and lie down right in front of the amp. He had just been on a two mile walk and usually flops down on his bed to cool off and you would have to pry him off of it to get him to even stand up. Something in that recording scared the **** out of him and it did it instantly.
