It would appear that he's playing through a Marshall no less.

Cool!

Maximum power pop combo.

Power Pop-er?

Power pop-est?

If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.

Who is The Red Button? Like the song. In fact I liked both songs quite a bit.

Catchy stuff.

Bingo, it's a Rick. Here's some live footage:

Correct me if I am wrong...

There She Goes has been covered by some cheese band... Gets a lot of airplay in Atlanta on an "adult contemporary" station. They all love it. The song is, indeed, a love song... about heroin.

Again, correct me if I am wrong, but if not, truly ironic and hysterical.

Jim, good recall...Sixpence None the Richer did a pop/AC version of "There She Goes" in the late 90s(same group had a massive hit called "Kiss Me" that was everywhere whatever year that was). Their version's shown up on various commercials lately. Given the heroin reference, it's more ironic as they're also part of the Contemporary Christian music scene.

(Sidebar: the Liverpool band Boo Radleys did a cover of it for Mike Meyer's "I Married An Axe Murderer" film...almost indistinguishable from the Las' version imo)

Hmmm... I'll have to root that one out. Along with the Red Buttons. (If any of you have the time or the inclination, buy that La's LP and give it a listen. Good stuff all the way 'round).

Cool name by the bye. I've always wanted to name a band "Penis Wrinkle and the Four Skins." Never been in a 5 piece though.

Have a good weekend, all.

re: Sixpence None the Richer, here's another song...a 330 prominently featured, but what's that color? Jetglo that's washed out by the lighting and poor video quality? Or some translucent color?
