I have very little experience with the trapeze tailpiece, is there a difference besides appearance?

It is much easier to change the strings on the trapeze for one thing.

So Dave, is that actually Mary's guitar? Is it just visiting, or does it have a green card as a permanent resident...or better yet, citizenship?

It not Mary's real guitar, but I always wanted one just like it.

It is a brand new 660/12BBR with some slight mods to it that I did. I think that her guitar is a 620/12 with checkered binding.

Ooooh, that's gorgeous, Dave. I've always loved Mary's 620/12 BBR, too. It was seeing a picture of her playing it that convinced me I had to have a Ric in Blueburst.
