Ahhh, The Cramps. I can't tell you how much I like those guys (and gal). I've got pretty eclectic tastes in music, but I mostly collect British Invasion and UK psychedelic music from the 60's. Few people would guess that I would have anything as camp and sleazy as The Cramps in my CD collection, but I have everything by them. I've been a fan since about 1980.

If you appreciate great guitar playing and have a sense of humor, I might also suggest that you check out and band called Southern Culture On The Skids. Although their name was enough to keep me away for years, it only took one listen to be hooked. Their guitarist Reverend Rick combines surf, rockabilly, CCR swamp, hillbilly country and a little bit of everything else into an indescribable sound. He plays everything from guitar, banjo, mandolin, and sitar. I also think I hear some absolutely gorgeous Gretsch and Rickenbacker 12-string sounds on "Just How Lonely Can Lonely Be" from their "Liquored Up And Lacquered Down" album. This is a great 'never heard but shoulda been a Top 40 hit' that everyone should hear.
