Early this week as I am on holiday as from tomorrow.

So a nice easy one, one of the best tracks this 60's act recorded though was released in 80's.

Had a number of hits in early to mid 60's on both sides of Atlantic

Nice sound but I never followed this act in their heyday ...so I had to research (cheat). Mine is in.

Well done to al those who identified Billy J Kramer, some stated Billy J Kramer and The Dakotas but this was Billy alone but we're not pedantic about that.

Some compilation CD's do wrongly credit this track.

Billy J Kramer and The Dakotas last single together was in 1996 called We're Doing Fine ironically.

A solo compilation of Billy's stuff long overdue he recorded a lot of solo singles on various labels, which could be the stumbling block, from 66 to 83.

Was an easy one for me cause it was already discussed here. The only thing i cannot understand: i remember well that this song was posted in a separate thread (named like, "You can't live on memories - who says" or something like that), more than 2 years ago, but for some reason i cannot find that thread now.
