Hitting the studio...new album soon

Post by phlemmy »

So, Doug had previous recordings that he did with his last band in LA before moving to Texas and he was trying to remix them to get them to sound how he wanted them to. Unfortunately for him, he can't get them how he wants them so he asked us if we were interested in rerecording them. Duh! Hell yeah! Most of the songs have morphed a little since Larry and I joined the band and it'll be good to hear the songs recorded with our styles on it. Doug felt badly about releasing it without the old band on it and I suggested that he release it as a 2CD set to include our versions as the main album and the second CD as the demo versions. So, that's how it looks like it's gonna play out. I'm excited. I'll likely use the 86 JG/BT as it's the best player of my 3.

We also secured an album cover artist and a cover for the first record, "Visions".
