Warranty card does not match guitar? New 360 JG

Post by ric330 »

I just checked out the warranty card to fill out for my new 360 JG with Rick-O-Sound and the card says 330 FG. :?
I called the dealer and they said that this was the only correct case for the guitar so the 330 must have my case which was sold some time ago.
If I have the receipt and the guitar can RIC still honor the warranty if a problem arises? Can I get a new card? Do I need a new card?

I just finished an hour long acoustic session on the 360 JG with my favorite home jam partner (5 year old daughter on the Kazu) and I have to tell you this guitar sounds fantastic unplugged! I should try micing it through the PA :)

But back to my original question - could this be resolved?
I know it's not a big deal but I paid dearly for this 360 JG with Rick-O Sound and I am loving it more each time a play it.
Just feeling a bit uneasy.

It should also have the sn# of the guitar on the card, which is all the more important. Since nothing is handwritten anymore and on a sticker attatched to the card, all the info should be correct or something was switched out....

It also means that the dealer has another customer in the same situation as you, and they should try to contact the one who bought the 330, and perhaps a swap can be arranged. I'd get the dealer to go thru their records or have them call RIC to see what could be done...after all it's their mess-up it seems.

The serial number doesn't match either.
The serial number on the Jack plate and the receipt match though.

I simply love this guitar. But I kind of want to get this right. I guess I should try to call them back and let them resolve it.
Thanks for the feedback.
