Post by mgauction »

I didn't know any Framus guitar was worth anything like this. Formerly belonging to forumite, Vincent Gallo:

Ooops! Forgot this is for Rics only. Should have placed this elsewhere -- The Others?

Vincent Gallo was a member of the forum? Interesting. His new musical project is a strange one. It's completely improvised every night -- no rehearsals, no repetition. My friend just interviewed him and he explained that the whole point is to seek out those awkward moments when none of the players know what the hell they're doing.

That was funny, Gary! One of my pet peeves - musicians can barely speak and can't write "a very famous Jazz player in the mid. 60 in Italy. "

My band that has just split after about 6 or 7 years spent the first year or so doing just this. One needs a change of underware mid set, but after a while it is very liberating.

I've actually been thinking about something similar for a while, for that very reason (the liberating part, not the underwear change!).....

I can't imagine paying $40,000 for a guitar ... for that kind of money I can get 2 new cars and have some change left over :!:

I recently auditioned for a band that opereated that way ... I spent the whole evening trying to get them to play a song ... :?

I couldn't imagine that would be very interesting for the audience unless the band was made up of monster players.
