New Rick. 360BB

Post by Ricmanx1 »

Hi Folks,
I'm a new here, I thought you might like to see my latest new Rickenbacker which is a 360 Blue Boy ,this is a guitar I have been wanting a while now but seem to be hard to get hold of at the moment, one of the things I've always wanted to do is to fit gold trim and TRC to give it a more 50's look which I think looks quite cool, let me know what you guys think, enclosed are pics. of guitar before and after fitted with the gold.........

Congratulations! The gold is nice, but I think the white looks very good too.

Where did you find a Blueboy?!? Man, if you ever want to sell this, please let me know. Anything you'd want more, tradewise. Man, I want that guitar. About the gold, it looks pretty good, but I think I'm kinda partial to the original white parts.

Thanks Guys,
yes, I too like the white trim on the Blue Boy, but I thought I would try something a little different from the norm with the gold.I really wanted a 660BB but these seemed to be rarer than a hen's tooth!!

I used to have a 330 and 360BB's about two years ago which I regretted selling both of them and I've been looking to replaced ever since.I bought this one two weeks ago of ebay, condition is absolutely mint and definitely a keeper.....

Don't like the gold or the oven knobs. Stick with the white, maybe vintage knobs.

I had the pleasure of playing one these a few years ago in the local shop,
a 360/12 BB .
I like it more with the gold guards myself,
it does give it a more vintage vibe IMO 8)

I just upload the photos to Photobucket and use the IMG tag. You can go up to 600kb then, IIRC. If you can't do that feel free to e-mail them to me, i'd be happy to post 'em for you. jbiscuti AT mac DOT com.
