Mr. "Not So" Tambourine Man

Post by admin »

Well, for your amusement and discussion I am submiting my 4 track tape recording of Mr. Tambourine Man. Here is my Model 360/12V64 f-hole Montezuma Brown 12 string, my old voice and all the hiss anyone could want. :) This was, however, great fun to record.

That was great Peter. Better than my low blues style voice. I love the tone of the guitar.
What are you plugged into? Are you using a jangle box or just straight into the amp?
Keep em' coming.

Mighty fine, Peter. Nice pickin'. Your voice work is fine as well, coming from another 'boomer'. I wish I sounded as good. If I stay in key, I tend to sound like one of the baritones in the Oak Ridge Boys on downers.

Scott, what is GR8?
Nice track, Peter. I have it somewhere on my PC, seems like it was posted here before. How about "Honey don't"?

Kevin: For this recording I used a Boss CS-3 Compression Sustain pedal. It is one of several compression pedals in my stable, including the JangleBox.

Thanks to all for their kind comments. Honey Don't does not involve a Rickenbacker so I feel it is not appropriate for this forum.

Nice, Peter! I like your vocals and your chiming jingle-jangle 12-string sound....
