Good piece in The Times about him deserving a knighthood, and I must say I agree completely.

Alan: Yep. Everybody knows that Ringo handled the tricky guitar bits on Beatle recordings. He taught George everything he knew about guitar-slinging (and I've seen the photos to prove it).

I'm a bass player ( 5 Rics and counting) and don't know Ric guitars that well, but isn't it Dave Stewart playing the Ric? :shock: I could be wrong too. 8)

Actually one of my personal Beatles guitar songs i like to play is Octopus's Garden by Mr Starr so maybe Sheena your right each to their own. :wink:
