That is practically a discontinued model. I don't think Ric has shipped a 360-12MG in a very long time.

BTW Buddy...
Enjoy your youtube videos. I'm learning a bunch of old beatles/byrds stuff on my new Ric 12 and the videos help.
I'm doing a new music room as well. Black light posters...lava lamps...Rickenbackers....oh boy. Also putting a digital audio workstation in there.

I need 60's posters like yours!

Thanks Les! I am going to have to build a separate building to put all of that stuff in eventually. I'm holding back until my youngest daughter gets through college which she will begin this year.

The posters are originals from the late 1960's and early 1970's for the most part, and the majority are Peter Max which I have collected off and on since 1970 when as a young boy I was given some of that stuff by my grandfather. IAt the time, I was facinated with music and art and he had a lot of this kind of stuff in the back of his clothing store in an area set aside for "youth clothing" which featured the fashions of the day including belts, etc. that Peter Max designed for a company called Canterbury Belts. By the way if you are in the market for an original piece, I can make you a far better deal than gallery retail. See http://www.infinityvisualgraphics.com for a closer look at some of that stuff!

Anyway those posters turned out to be worth mucho $$$ over the last 35-40 years so once in a while I sell 1-2 of them and get a new Rickenbacker, etc...LOL As a matter of fact I just bought my 2nd. Ric since December. This one was a Mint Montezuma Brown 360 with all the goodies! Toasters, Vintage silver case, Ric-O-Sound, leather Strap, the works! Now I need to save my pennies to get a Monty Ric 360-12 to go with it...because I hate odd numbers... but the problem is that will make guitar number 13 if I do that...LOL

Les by the way, I just discovered you site with the finely crafted furniture and discovered we have another thing in common. Your craftsmanship is top notch! There are some very impressive pieces with absolutely beautiful wood and finishes. The location also looks like a post card. I am sure that is a wonderful place to work/live.

I do similar woodwork on occasion although not nearly as much as I used to. I have a shop where I have built all kinds of original pieces and reproductions that feature hand-carved Queen Anne cabriole legs, dove tail joints, mortise and tenon construction, etc. I tend to use only solid Mohogany, Cherry, or Walnut although I have made pieces with other woods.

I have also used the same shop/tools to build many giant scale Radio-Controlled airplanes in the past and 10 years ago i was featured on the covers of 3 Major Magazines for such...LOL I am going to sell the shop because it is a couple of miles from where I have moved to and build a new building with the bottom floor for tools and woodworking, and the top floor reserved for musical equipment, recording equipment, and art related interests. At least that is the plan! One day I am going to get the A.D.D.in check and focus on one area. I am just interested in too many things I suppose but yo only live once and I want to do everything I can while I'm here. -BC

Really?

Isn't a 360/12MG like one of RIC's top selling instruments?

I thought so, but I haven't seen a new one anywhere in forever. I know because my friend is looking for one and can't find one.

Buddy,

Thanks for the woodwork compliments.

It's a side business really. I started woodworking long ago with guitar making. The cnc does still get used for inlay carving.

I have noticed Rick owners do often have a lot in common!

I notice that you, I, and Beatlefreak (Kris) are pretty close together.

Sounds like the making of a Rick confluence!
