Richard X. Heyman

Post by rickosound »

Check out this this artist. We don't know much about him, but he appears to be a member of the Ric Users Family. The Janglebox website has a wonderful version of his, "The Drone Song", which isn't him, but is very close to his version, with the Janglebox effect added.
Here is a video of a different song.

I picked up "Hey, Man" at the used CD place up the street, and had been meaning to mention it here. Not only it is a terrific power pop record, but it is definitely a Ric 12 showcase. I highly recommend it.

Heyman was known a few years back for doing a lot of basement/backyard shows; not sure if he still does those...

Richard has had a few threads about him on the forum. The search function is our friend. Great artist who's been making great original music for decades now.

I believe that version of the Drone Song is by CT Fall. A legend in his own right.

RXH recently picked up a vintage 345 that he's been performing with lately.
