New Byrds "Scrapbook" from Pamela DeBarres

Post by mcd220 »

You guys are absolutely right; Chris Hillman was her first big "Band Crush", and she would wait for days, weeks, lying in his hammock on his front porch in Laurel Canyon waithing for him to come home!! :)

A few months ago, I had heard that she was going to release a book containing "The World's largest collection of Byrds memorabillia on the planet".

I HAD to find out more, so I emailed Pam, she wrote back, and did say that she had "Almost everything" from the "Original 5" years, and was INDEED going to release this in a scrapbook form in around a year or so!! :D

I CAN'T wait; as we all know, ANYTHING on The Byrds is so RARE and far between, this will be a real treat indeed.

Awsome, Pam is a very cool lady. I wonder if she ever visits the forum, probably not. But just in case, June in Cleveland....many many bass players....

She is also an authority on Jimmy Page but that's for another day.
