New Screws for new High Gain Pickups

Post by btomlinson »

Does anyone know if the proper screws can be purchased for a set of the newer high gain pickups. I was bored one night. I cut off the tops, and made toaster looking pickups for 660. I would like the option to return the pickup to normal.

Thank you.

I'm confused, here. You cut the pickup tops off to make a toaster looking pickup for a 660? I don't understand how that makes them look like a toaster. Why do you need the screws? Did you cut those off? Why not just unscrew them? Didn't your 660 already have toasters on it?

To answer your question, the can be ordered from the RIC website Boutique. Look here for the part numbers:

Sorry. I took new high gains and cut the tops off the poles (screws) in order to keep the toaster top. I put a high gain under the existing toaster top. When I say screws I mean poles. Thank you.

It does come with toasters and i like the look but love high gains.
