Don't Try to Lay No Boogie Woogie...........
Re: Don't Try to Lay No Boogie Woogie...........
Great info, here. I had no idea Long John Baldry was a contemporary of the Beatles or the Stones. (I mistakenly thought he was a generation, if not a decade earlier.)

John William Baldry was an incredible performer who not only brushed shoulders with many of his contempraries but he also played with many of them. For example Mick Jagger, Jack Bruce and Charlie Watts were members of this band at one point. Keith Richards and Brian Jones also jammed with him.
