So I got my Blackstar today...

Post by phlemmy »

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the neck on this. It's slim and fast. I'm going to play it at home for a few more days with it strapped on around my neck, but I think I am leaning towards selling it. It definitely weighs more than my 85 and 86 and I'm not sure how comfy that is gonna be for me on stage.

It's in GREAT shape with the standard 3mm tail lift. It even has the original warranty card which was cool to see. I LOVE the case.

Congratulations, Sean!

But... sorry to hear about the weight issue...you DID keep the mapleglo/BT 4003, right?
I noticed it vanished from the auction place...?

Sean - let me know - I had contacted the seller about this bass and he went and posted it on ebay. I'd be interested...... 8)

Keep playing it for awhile, you might get used to the weight. Mine has become my #1 player.

Does a half pound or so of bass really make a difference? Especially when that half pound is where the awesomeness resides?

Sean is a very manly man. If he can move those huge bass stacks at every show, I am surprised that this bass could be cast out over a few mere ounces..
