Adding Binding to a 330 (?)

Post by stringsncords »

I purchased a beautiful 330 AFG last year; plays great, love the shape of the horns, but would like to "Harrisonize" it, by adding binding and possibly fingerboard inlays. Is this a practical possibility? Thanks!

Absolutely do-able, but it would most likely need a refinish too.

Welcome, Robert! Although I'm not a luthier, I concur with JB's opinion that it would most likely need refinishing. Oh, and the binding can be done, as I have inquired about it before (I was thinking of trying to have a Model 1997 converted to a Model 1993 ).
