Ric 620 jammed/maxed out truss rod.

Like the title says. I finally found a socket driver that fits my Ric 620 bought used about three months ago. Anyhow, the bass side rod's fine, but the treble side rod will not tighten. Loosens off no problem, but will not budge a millimeter past the point it started from.

Any suggestions? The guitar's playable with 9's on it, with just a tad more relief on the neck than I like, but it really, really needs 10's on it.

Why don't you take the rods out and examine them to see what the problem is. Search the archives as there is plenty of material on this subject. You say you have the right coket for it, is it the long straight handle 1/4" Excelite wrench?

I have a 1/4" straight handle wrench, the only one I could find, which is actually the "holder" for one of those "multi-head" screwdrivers. The socket the heads fit into juat happens to be 1/4".

You can get he rods out? Ok, I'll have to search the archives.
