Yeah, that whole performance (two songs, actually) plus tons of other great Ric footage is included on the new Who DVD, "Amazing Journey"

I highly reccomend it to any 'oorible 'oo fan, well worth the money..

Wow, I didn't realize that John Entwistle had that Rickenbacker bass as early as 1964. He must have been one of the very first people in England to have one!

yeah, it was a RM1999. I believe him and Pete Quaif of the Kinks were among the very first Ric bassists in the UK. Chris Squire was a bit later, I believe.

I don't have decent enough photos of Quaif's 4001, but I believe it too was a RM1999. He had it in early '64

Loved the high numbers period.Captures such a raw and talented young band that blossomed into one of the most influential bands to come from the UK.Stunning.
P.S i love the way pete dances in this looks as tho hes dying for a pee. :?
