Sea Green 620

Post by brianeharmonjr »

I don't want to get too excited, but I've got a lead on a Sea Green 620. I'm going to check it out tomorrow. I've never seen a 620 in Sea Green, and I've never seen a Sea Green in person at all. I'll post pictures and more info tomorrow. Anybody have a clue what this might sell for on the open market? I know they don't come around often.

Hard to say what's its worth. Sea Greens just don't come up often enough to get a feel for the market. If its more than what you're looking to spend Brian, let me know - I'm probably interested! :D

Well, a 620 Blueboy sold on ebay about a month ago very quickly with a $2500 BIN. I would think the Sea Green would be even higher. But, then again, the way things have been selling recently, it is tough to say.

Wow, really? I missed that one.

It's very tough to say.

Wow - I would love to see pictures! I can't afford anything like that right now myself, but a Sea Green 620 has been on my wish list for years! Good luck!

I'm sure that 620's in Sea Green are scarcer than Blue Boys.

Well, I wasn't able to go check it out today, but the guy said he's going to hold it at least until I have a chance to go check it out next Friday. So, no pictures until then.

Brian, I take it that you do plan on buying it?

FWIW, a Sea Green 330 sold recently on ebay BIN $1950 to Olivia's:

There was speculation they would flip it, but so far it has not reappeared on ebay.

It's a 6-string, and I believe it has toasters. The guy seemed fairly well informed about what it was. I might end up flipping it, but then again, I might keep it. We'll see.
