in the electronics cavity...lookey here! '88 JG/BT refin MG

Post by rokkitt »

Hi

I have an '88 ric, JG/BT refin MG 4003

here are the electronics

I know this has been tampered with, but does it look original?

and those caps look huge! aftermarket?

and....I am fixing the bad solder joints, and my little rickey sounds better already!

I also have some clearer pics, jsut ask...

here are some more

and I was told on this board that the M.G. in the pastel blue is not a ric marking....hey,this thing was JG to begin with, nice move by someone who wanted to "hide the history" and make the bass look "original"

but, it is an original ric, so that is a great start!

oh, and the markings on the pots are as follows

ALL POTS HAVE THE SAME MARKING OF ---- R137874

THEN EACH POT HAS AN INDIVIDUAL MARKING OF.....

TREBLE TONE

310 -cant read next letter(s)-

TREBLE VOLUME

3279

BASS TONE

31056

BASS VOLUME

32 -cant read next letter(s)-

and here is the marking in the control cavity, and a pencil marking of "santos"
