I picked up a copy of Commander Cody's "Deep in the Heart of Texas" and they ha "Little Sally Walker", which seemed kinda nice so I did a search on iTunes for "Little Sally Walker" and stumbled on Son Seals. One or two of you had mentioned him but I hadn't looked him up yet. If you got 99 cents, give it a listen. It smokes. I get goose bumps, which only happens on really, really, really good tunes. He has a sad life story and passes away from Diabetes complications a few years ago. Here's a tune (not complete) and some info on his life. "Little Sally Walker" is the perfect example of my favorite music.

I ended up buying two of his albums, "Nothin but the Truth", and "Bad Axe". HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Re: Son Seals
Good one! Son Seals is not as well known as some blues artists but he's great..take some BB King stir in some chicken pickin..yeah!
Re: Son Seals
Sons Seals was also the drummer on Albert King's Live Wire/Blues Power recording on Stax back in the late '60s. If you listen, you can hear similarities in his guitar style that jibe with Albert's. I really liked a few of his CDs on Alligator back in the '80s.
