Indigo Eyes

O the evenin’ tide is ticklin’ our toes
Washin’ old sandcastles on our pile of clothes
Daylight’s melting slowly into dark blue skies
As I hold you near...Girl, I disappear
In your indigo eyes

Now your brown hair glistens from the misty breeze
Salty kisses stolen by the emerald seas
There’s a sliver moon that’s slowly on the rise
But its silver hue, pales next to you
And your indigo eyes

Yeah I see tonight, heaven paints all light with its hidden brush
And in its own time, it makes rubies shine and April roses blush
As I see you now, in the night somehow I realize
Heaven painted love, in the myst’ry of your indigo eyes

And those eyes reveal the woman deep within
Try to reach her now with kisses on your skin
Makin’ love has stripped away each thin disguise
Cos here in the dark, you have reached my heart
With your indigo eyes

Yeah I see tonight, heaven paints all light with its hidden brush
And in its own time, it makes rubies shine and April roses blush
As I see you now, in the night somehow I realize
Heaven painted love, in the myst’ry of your indigo eyes
