OK here's this week's
Whilst this track was released in 70's act qualifies because the first single by this act was released in late 60's.
The single made number 67 in top 100 in states, but did nothing in UK.
A album was released but for some inexplicable reason was not released either in UK or US.
At this stage act got a new producer and change of name and went on to have some success in 70's in UK and US.
Who Is It.

Thanks, Roy. My guess is in.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: BFTP51
Very interesting track... echoes of all sorts of things, including the Procol Harum organ at the end... I'm sure I'm going to kick myself next Saturday and say "Of course!" - but right now I just have no idea
Re: BFTP51
Yeah, that organ threw me too. Another good test Roy; email sent.nick_allen wrote:... echoes of all sorts of things, including the Procol Harum organ at the end...
Re: BFTP51
My guess is in. Significantly higher key than the well known version.

Re: BFTP51
I found this one to be a very easy guess. Can't say any more for fear of giving it away. Sent you an email, Roy.

Sorry, didn't manage to identify.
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.
Re: BFTP51
Most correctly identified that this Badfinger, in my view the best version of the song.
