77' Transparent Emerald Green 4001

I know this is a refin, but I really like the transparent green with the white binding.

I agree. Its a cool color and looks good on a Rick.

I've seen this bass on Ebay at least 3 times before. I wonder if it has issues?

Same here. IF I'm not mistaken, the Emperor did the refin and was the first seller?

it was floating around before the Emp. if i recall, there were neck issues.

I think you refer to an old one that Andy Winter has...which if I recall, could *possibly* be Roger Waters' old 4001...that one was unplayable and had no electronics, I believe. And was far older than a '77.

nope - not Andy's...this one was on gbase for $1500 IIRC - photographed outside, leaning againsta brick wall. those who looked into it were told there we "neck issues".

i don't remember it having the Hipshot and plexi surround at that time.
