Flatwounds recommendation for 1986 4001 MG/BT

Post by clarky »

Sorry, I'm sure there a dozens of threads on the subject of flatwound strings but could someone give me a good recommendation for a set for my newly purchased (from jakeox) MG/BT? I generally play pick and rock, if that influences the recommendation. I have Thomastik J344s on my P-bass, which I like, but may not be as well suited to a 4001. Thx Clarky

PS, feel free to point me in the direction of a thread if its easier
