Ah, you must mean "installation".

You can actually do this in one installment.

Remove the "R" and its bracket. Of course, in addition to the two small screws, you'll have to remove the strap button.

The trapeze, if still in its factory package, will have four small button-headed screws.

If you wish to install the trap permanently, go ahead and drill about a .080" hole for each screw, after fastening the bracket into place with the strap button. The trap bracket will hide the old "R" bracket holes.

If you wish to make it reversible, the strap button alone will be sufficient to hold the trap bracket into place, and you can cut the heads off the screws and glue them into place to make it look OK, without drilling any extra screws. I usually put a small piece of self-stick felt on the part of the bracket that contacts the body, just to keep things clean.
