Cool, indeed! Although it sounded a bit rushed at the very beginning (perhaps the TV-types told them to hurry it up?) it was still a nice variation on the album track. 8)

Joe Morello could do so much with such a small drum kit, compared to what so many drummers use these days... and sound so much better, too!

I bought Time Out on CD, 10-odd years ago... then the SACD version when it first came out, a couple of years later; and still play it regularly. Not a bad track on it.

That's probably one of the best jazz tracks ever. That entire album is awesome. One of the best albums I've ever gotten to be sure.

I had that song as a ringtone on my cell phone a while back...maybe time for a comeback. Thanks for posting that.

One of my favorite jazz numbers, very cool video thanks for posting it.

I remember seeing this guitar version a while back and being like WTF? Looks like he hooked a baby Taylor onto 314 style.

That whole vid is perfect: the music's great, and I love the sparkle drum kit, the skinny ties, and the thin lapel suits. The set backdrop is great as well!

I have seen that before, I can't remember who it was at the moment. I believe there are tapped threads along the fretboard to attach small hold clamps on allowing different tuning options.
