So, I do love my 650D. But I have to admit, the Neck HB sounds a little muddy. I almost never play with just the neck selected, it is almost always bridge or a combination. Was thinking of swapping it or possibly both out for either a HG or a toaster. Would like to hear anyones opinion on a 650 with VP option. Or I wonder how 1 toaster would sound in just the neck position. Toaster or HG.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

Well, I can't comment on how the switch would sound, but I'm looking for a pair of HB's for a possible future project. If you decide to switch for a pair of hi-gains I would love to trade! I've got a pair of hi-gains from my '03 360-12. Good luck!
Re: 650D with Toasters or HG?
I had put a set of toasterized high gains on my former 650C. I prefered these over the HB pickups. I sold this guitar to Elys Rand last November. I did use two bridge pickups though. I felt that with the wider string spacing on the 650 that there would be better coverage that way due to the wider pole spacing. I have a few more high gains that I am going to convert. Let me know if you have any interest.
