I removed an Accent VB from my MG-finished Rick and noticed that the rubber pads on the underside of the leaf spring had discolored the finish.
I want to put an Accent on another Ric, but dont' want to discolor the finish. What can I do to prevent this? The only thing I can think of that might prevent this would be to use teflon tape on the underside of the rubber feet, but I don't know if this will be effective. Does anyone have a better idea that would be effective in preventing the rubber feet from discoloring the finish?

Aside from posting here, I would contact RIC and see what they say. Is it going on the TUR???

My former 325v63 had little green felt circles under the Ac'cent. Never gave me trouble.

Teflon tape won't prevent the discoloration...teflon is quite porous in this application. Remove the rubbers and put some cork discs or felt pads under there...
