OK here's this weeks, fairly easy if you search I suppose but hard I think if you just listen.
Everyone from 60's especially will know the song big hit especially in States for Herman's Hermits.
This version was released however a few years previously and originally featured in a UK TV play, person performing the song is not a recording artist but did go on to become a popular actor Oscar nominated I believe but don't think he won one.
Interesting I thought especially if you have never heard this version.

Very interesting one, Roy. My guess is in.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

My researched guess is in Roy.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

After a week of head scratching and asking friends with no result I resorted to "the net". My guess is in with thanks to a certain Mr Bill Gates!!

This was a difficult one to get on just listening, answer was Tom Courtney and the track was originally featured in a UK TV play called The Lads
