The new "SMV" (Stanley Clarke/Marcus Miller/Victor Wooten) CD project is coming out int he coming weeks. it started with them jamming at a Bass Player Magazine event.
If you are interested, the excellent New England retailer Newbury Comics offers a free baseball (or bass-ball) autographed by these three icons if you pre-order....

It's coming out 8/12 so pre-order quick! I ordered mine, and have gotten some other good autographs from Newbury this way (Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Dweezil Zappa).

Rats! Looks like all the baseballs are gone. But on the bright side, I've got tickets to the Charlottesville show. Can't wait!
