Rickenbacker 4001S in dictionary

Post by jwilli »

This past Monday, My wife and I dropped my four 7 yr olds off at school to start 1st grade. We had a ton of supplies to drop off with them so we went into their classroom with them. I noticed something familiar on the back of their Merriam-Webster dictionaries......a '64 4001S bass (RM1999). I had to laugh to myself and point it out to the kids, .

How cool is that! Our Thorndike-Barnhart dictionary just had a reddish bound cover.
